Florida. Car Rental Age. Help please!?
So my husband and I are going to Florida on vacation. We plan to fly to Orlando. We are not yet and 25 who can not find a place that rents vehicles unless it is 25! (The annoying thing is that both have perfect driving records.) We do not want to drive because this is supposed to be a relaxing and is a very very long journey. Is there anything we can do? Are there any car rental places we have lost. Please, taxis and buses do not suggest we go for more than Orlando, in our time, and if that is not possible, then we do not want to waist our money and not see much the state. Any suggestions, or are we just SOL? Thanks a bunch!
It is hard to rent a car if you are under 25. However, some rental agencies allowed to rent a car if you are under 25 years, provided that you pay an additional daily surcharge. For most agencies and states, the minimum age is 21, while some can go as low as 18. If you can rent through an employer group plan may also be able to rent.
