Spring has arrived and it's time to plan spring break always popular. But where to go? Florida, always full to overflowing, many Caribbean islands, can be dicey politically, and Cancun is still in recovery mode after hurricane Wilma. This year, why not branch, head a little further south, and discover one of the largest countries in the world – Brazil.

If your spring vacation always centers on a beach, Brazil has beaches galore. A good idea would be to head to Rio de Janeiro, home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Despite the reputation that Rio has to be dangerous, is usually quite safe for tourists who use common sense and are aware of their surroundings. The song made famous over forty years, Ipanema is a place to pay tribute to all that is the beach. With over two miles of golden sand surrounded by beautiful green mountains and a mosaic boardwalk, Ipanema gives you the golden opportunity to worship the sun, sand and surf.

If you prefer to spend their vacations immersed in local culture and cuisine, Sao Paulo is the place to be. The largest city in South America, Sao Paulo is home to some of the best Brazil has to offer. There are plenty of museums and sites, including the famous Art Museum Sao Paulo (MASP), an art museum designed by renowned Italian architect Lina Bo Bardi. The Jardim Zoo is considered one of the best zoological parks in the world, and Fundacao Maria Luiza and Oscar Americano is an impressive cultural center that offers a glimpse into colonial Brazil.

On top restaurants Sao Paulo is considered second to none and give you a great taste of local cuisine. You can not leave Sao Paulo, untreated Brazilian version of the petit gateau, a mini chocolate cake filled with liquid chocolate and surrounded by ripe mango slices. It is a taste sensation, to say the least.

Environment walks can meet the fancy of many vacationers. The peak of the rainy season in Brazil has just ended, so it's a beautiful time to explore the wonders of the Amazon. Manaus, capital of Amazonas state of Brazil, is home to more than one million people and is ideal for exploring the Amazon jungle. There are many travel companies offering tours of Manaus in the forest, giving the opportunity to see this natural wonder of the decline in hand first. You can also visit one of the centers of hope increasing the conservation of the forest, the "forest of chocolate." These plantations of cocoa trees in the heart of the jungle are pursuing conservation of forest insects, soil fertilization, and microclimate stability.

When reserving your Brazilian holiday of spring, the beauty of this wonderful country should leave you anxious to get on the plane. You will not be disappointed as you experience this exotic piece of paradise in America South.
