How bad is living in Florida?

I live in the north is …. PPL say where is the place to find work all the time … I'm confused. I hate living in VA and I want to try the Florida …. resorts. I feel the sun and be happier. PPL, but I hear FL is difficult to find jobs and cost of living not all different. RT now the rent (in someone's house) is 450/mo util incl'd.: (What can I do to make my dream … living near the beach (which not all the way to California. area) and find some decent office work? sigh.

I live in Florida, most of my life and I personally love it. Its true of its more expensive, but its just a completely different culture. I lived in New Jersey (no offense) for 6 mths and was completely MISERABLE! Everyone (that I saw) dress with muted colors and never smiled, did not talk to the other and the sky was always gray and it was so cold! In Florida, its easy to make friends around the world .. It seems much happier! Yes, its harder to get jobs … depending on what your race is. Florida has a bad reputation, but thats just people bc watch the news and only see the bad things … that occur in each state. What about all the good things going on here? You need to make you happy!
