Top of the wedding?
My girlfriend and I are considering renting a home in Orlando for our ceremony and reception. Should we have the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors? What time of day? How can I decorate? And how do we enertain everyone? We are considering this villa: http://www.orlandovillas.com/florida-vacation-rental-1018.aspx Does anyone have original ideas on how we can have the ceremony and reception here? It I forgot to add that we provide the food – whether for a barbecue or some finger foods and dishes sub, chips and dip, etc.. We had 20 people. The Most of our customers live in the area – the town is for us and our guests who do not live in Florida, so sleeping arrangements are cared for.
The house is beautiful and should work well for a wedding with 20 guests! One idea for the wedding ceremony itself is to have it in the pool! I suggest building a "deck / Walk on the pool for you and your boyfriend to stand so that everyone can see while standing around the pool. You'd be Cetner care in this way. Shed some tropical flowers and floating candles in the pool environment and voila instant! Also, not sure what point you're thinking about everything occurs, but also reading, where Disney's fireworks are visible in this house. You may have to be timed where the ceremony was completed in time for watch the fireworks before the reception begins. Or, make sure that your guests are welcome furing outside when it's time for fireworks! I like to go all tropical decorations, etc! You are in a tropical paradise setting type, use that! They have fresh leis for your guests to use, or even for mothers instead of coursages! have inspired foods and tropical drinks as well! Think … Tropical Classy but at the same time! You may have outside the ceremony and then having the food prepared in a beautiful buffet table! Richly decorated with tropical flowers and citrus fruit more color, of course! This page has some great photos and ideas: Flower http://www.soniatasteshawaii.com/2006/11/even_though_mad.html ideas http://www.hawaiianmagic.net/flowers/hawaiianweddings/hawaiianweddings.html or you may be more Latin-inspired: http://www.ritmodecor.com/ Whatever the choice, I'd go with something that complements the surrounding area and culture! You want your wedding and its theme to fit into the area and be fun and memorable!
