Can we book Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa in 1 month before?
My family, my friend and I go on vacation in Orlando, Florida in June. We want to continue at Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa. We are doing the timeshare thing and says it can only be booked as 35 days in advance (it sounds a little crazy). Will units still be available then? And if not, do you know of another good resource to stay in?
Westgate is massive. Took the family there on spring break (late March / early April) this year, a maximum time for Orlando. We went to Westgate, because we were making a "last minute" timeshare exchange – 60 days or less – because it is much less at the point of our timeshare plan if you do that. There was a problem, and I doubt it will be for you either. The property itself was nice, though not really spend much time there. Place of accident between parks basically. The discomfort, seen in many of the comments on the site, and I could not agree more – the parking is very, very, very limited. Very often had to park far, far away for the unit, and only then, after wandering for 10 minutes and be lucky to find any point anyway. Definitely off. Even if you can not enter Westgate, if you're looking to do an exchange of timeshare in Orlando, I'm sure you can find something. There is so much inventory, there's always something.
