Pine Cay has eight absolutely stunning talcum-sand beaches and is home to what can be described as a planned community of Caribbean, which offers a family shelter and a private club on a private island that is as safe an environment as you'll find anywhere. It is only a mile wide and about two miles long and have no cars, telephones or TV!

Pine Cay is as unique as you can get. The owners of the island are determined to keep it that way, so you can find nature in Pine Cay unchanged at its finest. The miles of barrier reefs surrounding Pine Cay are not damaged, there is great amount of marine life to the extent you could say that the water is full of goldfish. Pollution levels are so low as to be almost nonexistent.

Pine Cay is a place to escape and get lost in where the pressures of the 21st century vanish as soon as you arrive, because there really is not much to do but relax.

On Pine Cay is about 30 houses in a good position along the beach. Most people have read the Club of Meridian, who is twelve very unique environments, but internationally acclaimed hideout. What many do not realize is that some of cabins on the island are available for hire, rental and it brings the same privileges the guests at the Club of Meridian. The cabins are all different, get cleaning twice a week, a fully equipped kitchen and a shop where you can buy supplies.

Please note that children under twelve are not accepted at the Meridian.

The time in Pine Cay remains in the 80's during the winter by easterly trade winds, and only about 90 degrees in summer.

In terms of activities, then if it is a cottage rental or the meridian, you can choose between swimming in the warm turquoise sea, snorkeling believes some of the best anywhere. There are also hunting sea shell on the beach fishing, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, biking, hiking, bird watching and, above all because Pine Cay is home to some wonderful birds. That's not forget one or two tennis games if you can raise your energy levels!

There is a local phenomenon of each lunar month, five nights after the full moon, and just under a hour after sunset, there is a display of underwater sea luminescence. This is a sight not to be missed, and occurs because of binding of a worm as a sea creature.

However, while the Turks and Caicos are memorable, Pine Cay is a truly remarkable hideaway.
