Summer Vacation Spot in Florida?

My husband and I are looking for a good vacation spot in Florida for vacation this summer. We will have 3 children, 4 years, 3 years old and a baby of 6 months, so somewhere that would also be family oriented. We live in Florida (Clearwater Beach) in particular, have done their "local" attractions, as I have been to Orlando several times and not do things kind of theme park. We dont really know where we go, but only want to deal with a day unit, within 6-12 hours in most of the files. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hi neighbor, Indian Rocks, I'm going to Naples, there is a zoo, beaches, Marco Island, Everglades. Three hours away, is also of Ft Myers area, nice. In Naples I stay at the Cove Inn, right in the public marina. Each room has a private balcony, you would need a larger area. All have kitchens, beautiful pool area. Many of the restaurants, which have a BBQ grill for use. I go three times a year, just after Easter, the rates fall. Check out there web site, love to visit there, Happy Holidays!
