Want to take the family on a vacation in the spring but does not want Junior to learn what "chap, chug, chug, chug" means yet. You want have a good "family" vacation without getting caught in the "Girls Gone Wild" atmosphere that traditionally surrounds the spring break. Here are some tips.

Try to take your vacation when most college students are still in school. Spring Break for students university may be from late February to late March, but most schools have vacation the first two weeks of March. Plan your vacation after the first two weeks of March.

Avoid the fate of the traditional college Spring Break: Jamaica, Cancun, Acapulco, Montego Bay, Bahamas, South Padre Island, near the State of Texas, Daytona, South Beach, Key West and Panama City, which are all in the state of Florida.
