I live in Missouri. I'm buying a used car at a dealership in Florida. When do I pay taxes?
I'll get a vehicle found at the dealership in Florida by looking at their website online. We're on vacation in Florida and plan to drive the vehicle home to MO. Will the granting of Florida sales tax to be collected and sent to MO or should I take the paperwork showing how much I paid and pay the sales tax to the Department of Rev, if the license of vehicle in MO? or do not even pay sales tax since I bought it in another state?
Normally dealers do not take tax sales if you are from out of state, but you will pay when you register in Missouri # Q5 http://dor.mo.gov/mvdl/motorv/faq/general.htm
