Holiday Travel advice Florida please!?

I want to go to a good family friendly resort in Florida w / my husband and 5 children (ages 6 months-8 years.) And stay on the beach. The Gulf coast is the preference, but can not find anything with Kid fun things like slides in the pool and other activities suitable for bonus children. Anyone worth going nowhere suggests? We are coming the week of Thanksgiving. Thank you!
