
Known as Florida's "Space Coast, Brevard County is just 35 miles from the city of Orlando, and has more than 70 miles from the Atlantic coast picturesque. The combination of the common sights in Florida such as golf, beach sports, and relaxation in general with several launch sites missiles, including the famous Kennedy Space Center, Brevard County has become the most holiday destinations in the entire state of Florida. County Long Range from north to south you can cover hundreds of square miles of park space and walking trails, most only a short distance from the beautiful stretch of white sand beaches.
While surfing and fishing are still extremely popular in Brevard County area's proximity to many major launch sites NASA also makes it a prime destination for the scientifically minded. Rocket and Shuttle launches can be seen throughout the entire county, and all launch sites offer up-close and personal views of the departures throughout the year.
Affordable for residents and visitors, the city of Cocoa Beach has attractions as the Brevard County Zoo and more than 500 holes of golf opportunities. With Orlando only an hour drive east and Port Canaveral just minutes to the south, residents cite centralized location Cocoa Beach as its main drawing function.
Located in southern Brevard County is the city of Melbourne. While most of the city lies on the continent, there is a small section on a barrier island, the Indian River Lagoon separates the island from the continent. Two high-rise bridges connect the different sections of the city, providing easy access for those wishing to explore the lush green living on the island of Melbourne.
Home of Orlando's closest beach, and some of the best nature reserves are in the U.S., Titusville offers a wide range of opportunities for enthusiasts of everything from science and nature to surfing. With 27 miles of undeveloped beaches, surfers and fishermen both come to the city.
Also located in the Indian River Lagoon coast of Palm Bay is another of the picturesque Florida small towns. With a rich history of sports watersports and activities such as parasailing and water skiing, Palm Bay has been a favorite destination for enthusiasts of beach activity. City Regional Park extends about 200 acres, providing endless green space and the host of one of the courts of cricket which is only found in central Florida.
