Orlando, Florida has seven distinct areas that vacationers can use as a base for visiting the amusement parks and playgrounds in the county. Make a choice where to stay can be a daunting task, here are some tips that can help you choose the best accommodation to suit your holiday needs (and budget) during your stay in the entertainment capital of the world of the family.

South of Disney World (Kissimmee area – Highway 192)

The historic city of Kissimmee has been a popular destination for many tourists visit Orlando. With its numerous restaurants, bed & breakfasts, holiday villas, golf golf and family attractions, vacationers that many consider this an excellent area to find accommodation. Hotel prices here are less expensive compared with the hotels in other areas. However, many of the structures are aging, as most were built in the 70s. Few of the hotels are connected with national chains.

North of Disney World

Also known as the Lake Buena Vista, this is the new location Places to stay in Orlando County and is managed by the Walt Disney Corporation. The hotels were built from the 1990s to the present and mostly associated with national hotel chains. The Lake Buena Vista area hosts excellent shops and restaurants within a few mile radius.

Disney World Resort Properties

By definition, will closer to the attractions of Disney World and the free shuttle service to the parks will run at least every half hour. Downtown Orlando

A vacation in Orlando means theme parks and visit the beautiful attractions that this region has to offer. Most likely you do not like the hassles of traffic long travel from downtown to the theme parks – not to mention the time you will be wasting thirty minutes or more to and from Disney World each day. There are too many good alternatives to stay downtown.

Orlando County Convention Center Area

A few minutes from SeaWorld, this area may be a good option for those who are going around in this park. However, the prices here are slightly more expensive, while the services offered by hotels focus primarily to business travelers to families. This area is a natural choice for those combining business with vacation.

SeaWorld (International Drive) Area

The area of International Drive near SeaWorld is our favorite area to stay for a holiday with small children. The number quality of "Villa stations" in the area is the reason. For the same price as a luxury hotel room, may be in a two bedroom villa with kitchen complete living room, whirlpool bath and screens on the terrace. These complexes have lakes, pools, activity centers and other services to children (and adults) love. He particularly appreciates these resorts, if you have some days of not park on their itinerary.
