Been to Walt Disney World? No? Then when you go for the first time, by all means take advantage of the many Disney theme resort hotels. Each is great in its own way.
The contemporary resort is the monorail going right through the lobby. The Grand Floridian is elegant and stylish. The Wilderness Lodge is rustic and outdoor. If, as the southern seas of Polynesia has the best of Hawaii and Polynesia. That feeling of being in Africa, Animal Kingdom Lodge can not be beat.
Each of these resorts is a multi-thematic experience to die. The problem with most of these resorts is that they cost a fortune to stay in, if you can even get a room. Prices may vary from $ 250 to $ 600 a night for a room standard. Granted these are the best seasons of Disney. One of the problems of these resorts, or any hotel in this area is the lack of space that is in your room. It's a hotel, after all. Typical hotel rooms have only 500 to 800 square feet and two beds. If you have more than 3 children becomes a challenge. You must book another room or a suite expensive.
Here's the dirty little secret. Private owners are self-catering near second Disney World just a short distance from the entrance. These houses are like a normal house and have bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, garage, and everything that a typical household would have. You can rent this house as you rent a hotel room, and are much cheaper than Disney World resort hotels. Renting houses in general, $ 100 to $ 300 per night and many have a private pool.
He still wants to stay at Disney's favorite place? Here's a trick. Book only 1 or 2 days at his favorite place and experience full season. Book a holiday home for the rest of your vacation and save money. I'm willing to bet that you'll love the Disney Resort, but they feel more at home in the holiday home.
If you have a group of more than four people will really enjoy the space of a holiday home gives you. Usually have 3 or 4 bedrooms. Children can play outside near the pool or watch television in the living room. You can cook your own food and not only eat healthier, but also save money on meals.
The biggest drawback to the holiday homes have is something that Disney has a monopoly on. That's the luxury of having the monorail come right to your hotel. With a vacation home has to hire a car and drive a little, but the savings and extra space they deserve.
The next time you go to Walt Disney World try a vacation home. I think you'll enjoy the experience.
