I lived in Florida for over 30 years, and I can tell you right below the Lido beach in Sarasota is a good place, is close to Armands Circle where there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the motel, to wander, and a wonderful beach. My second choice would be Venus Beach about 2 hours south, but are a little more expensive. go have a good time with her two years.
